the way eduardo looks, long and shameless. like he doesn’t even care if mark should turn and catch him looking because why should he? why should he be afraid of that because it’s what he wants, it’s all he wants.
the way mark looks at eduardo quickly, like he doesn’t want to get caught staring or looking. like he’s afraid of what will happen, of what eduardo will say if he catches him.
because they’re both so, so different in ways that shouldn’t work when you put them together but they do, they always have. how could they not? they know each other in intricate ways, deep and meaningful ways but in this, when it matters, they don’t know each other at all.
